For the last 40 years, Colombia has been torn apart by a civil war between the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), the National Liberation Army (ELN), paramilitary groups and government forces. There is a murder every 20 minutes and millions are internally displaced. In the last three years, more than 130 Protestant church leaders and many Roman Catholic priests have been assassinated.
