Over the past few months CSW has received reports of a sharp upsurge in the harassment and persecution of Christians in Iran, particularly converts, as part of what appears to be a concerted campaign targeting Christians of all denominations.

The louder the noise the international community makes, the more likely it is that prisoners will be treated properly according to international standards, and the more likely it is that those unfairly imprisoned will be freed.
